Election Day, It’s up to you

Election+Day%2C+Its+up+to+you

By Carmen Blum – Attention U.S. citizens over 18, today is election day, and it is of the utmost importance that you cast your vote if you have not already. The polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., but if you are still standing in line at 8 p.m. you will still be allowed to vote. If it’s your first time voting at a new poling place, you will be required to bring a valid photo ID, or if you don’t have an ID you can also use a recent bill, bank statement, or other government documents that show your current name and address.

By voting you are helping to decide what kind of world you will be living in for the next four years, don’t give up that right. You can visit this website for further information about places to vote near you: https://pollingplaces.democrats.org/
