Seniors got together for a group photo today in the Johnson Gym, and Principal Mark Larson gave them some special news. After the last final exam next week, on Wednesday, May 24th, he is treating the entire senior class to Raising Cane’s chicken. Food will be available in the West Gym for seniors at noon, and he will also take that time to go over instructions for graduation.

There will be some changes to the program this year. For one thing, graduates will be arranged alphabetically for the commencement ceremony.

“Last year, North Star did it this way, and it really worked well,” Larson said.

Parents had also requested this change so that they know when their child will go across the stage.

Ceremonies are Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 6 p.m. at the Pinnacle Bank Arena downtown.
