UPDATE: This event was canceled.

On Friday, April 27, the LHS Key Club will be holding their annual Dance-A-Thon for the fourth year in a row. All the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Foster Care Closet which is an organization that provides items that foster families are in need of.

It will be hosted in the Johnson Gym at Lincoln High from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm with team check in starting at 6:30 pm. Parking will be available anywhere around the school, but you will only be able to enter through the Globe Doors on the east side of the building.

How the event will work is the entire team will be on the dance floor with each member allowed only a couple of breaks, and if the team stops dancing at any point, or takes too many breaks, they will be eliminated from the competition. There will also be a dance off, prizes, and more.

If you are interested in participating you can sign up with your team of 4-10 at www.lps.org with the jumpcode “BDBL”. The cost is $5 per person. But if you aren’t able or don’t want to participate in the dancing, spectators are welcome.
