LHS students to be featured in “First Friday” Art events

The LHS Drawing 3/4 class will have their annual art show from 6-8 p.m. this Friday, May 3rd at Indigo Bridge Books & Cafe.

Sophomore Natalie Leininger, junior Michael Pau, and seniors Veronica Chairez, Hsar Doh Soe, and Daniel Nguyen will be featuring their work from this semester.

The Foundry Shop is having a First Friday show on May 3rd starting at 5 pm.  They are displaying “Vincent Van Gogh-inspired Art Boards” that have been created for auction at the Mayor’s Arts Awards on May 9th, where LHS senior, Sarah Nguyen, will be honored as the Youth Mayor’s Arts Awards winner.

The Art Boards are on display for early bidding and have been created by a variety of Lincoln artists, including three LHS student-artists: sophomore Natalie Leininger, senior Sarah Nguyen, and junior Taylor Stevenson.
