Boys Tennis Coach Todd Sandberg summed up the season by highlighting some accomplishments. “A few big moments we had were when we placed 5th in the LHS/LNE tournament out of 12 teams.
“We got 5th at the Millard West invite, 5th at the HAC Tournament, which is the toughest in the state,” Sandberg said.
“Our toughest opponents LSE, East, LSW and LNS are very good. Sandberg also noted some stand out players, “Zac Spence and Aaron Cook have a 13-14 record as our #1 doubles team with some close losses to quality teams.  Austin Trejo has been our most consistent, and Taylor Samek and Race Schuurmans are the biggest surprises.”
There have been light moments as well, The team had a wing eating contest at Buffalo Wild Wings after the LNS tournament, and Zac Spence had 35 wings. Dang Dang finished with 34.
“It’s been fun and we feel like we have really been competitive all season,” Sandberg said.
