And now an announcement from Student Council and SCIP – The School Community Intervention Program – One common myth is that vaping is safe. There is evidence that these products can result in negative effects on our lungs, breathing, and cardiovascular system. While some of the flavoring ingredients are safe to ingest because our guts can process more ingredients, they are not safe to inhale. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said 18 deaths in 15 states had now been positively linked to vaping, from a total of 1,080 cases of people sickened.

This Saturday, October 26, from 8am to 4pm is the first tech saturday for the One-Act Second Samuel! It’s a potluck sandwich saturday, so bring a side to share if you can! Remember, it’s mandatory for all cast, crew, and board members!

Lincoln High Theatre will be having a fundraiser at Novel Idea from 5pm-8pm November 1st. The fundraiser will be all day and anyone is welcome to come down and buy a book! All proceeds go to Lincoln High Theatre and to those who would like to sign up and support our theatre the sign up sheet is on the tech room doors and if you don’t have anything “costume-like” to wear, meet Lily Anderson at the basement door on October 30th.

And now to sports with Tyler Schumacher.

We all experience struggles with our relationships and sexual health. To address this we ask you to take hold of your own learning, ask direct questions, and come get educated at Healthy Lifestyles Education group.

This group will give students the chance to expand their knowledge and awareness around safe and healthy lifestyle choices. Partnering with community organizations such as Planned Parenthood, I’ve Got A Name, and Nebraska Aids Project, we look forward to learning more about how we can create healthy and safe lifestyles throughout our community! This group meets EVERY OTHER FRIDAY after school in 100M starting TODAY.
