The Army National Guard will be in the cafeteria over lunch periods today, Air Force ROTC will be here in the cafeteria on Tuesday over the lunches. and The Navy will be in the cafeteria on Wednesday during 5th pd. If you are interested, stop by their tables to see them.

And now a message from Hope Squad and Student Council:
“Theron: “What’s up guys! It’s Theron Polivka from your friendly neighborhood HOPE Squad teaming up with Kataryna Morton from Student Council to tell you about our new Fighting Links project!”

Kataryna: “The Fighting Links is a project to support struggling students in our school. This program will fight to end the stigma of mental health and initiate conversations between staff and students. Teachers and staff are students’ primary contacts in school. We want to provide students with a comfortable space to share concerns and provide staff with the skills to support struggling students.

Theron: “Make sure you tune in for the MTSS-B Lesson tomorrow during 5th period to get the jump code. This will be your opportunity to submit your nominations for Fighting Links, as well as for new HOPE Squad members. We are looking for students who are good listeners, concerned for others and easy to talk to. Try thinking of someone you could turn to if you needed a friend, and nominate them to be apart of our Hope Squad.

Kataryna: “Staff, be looking for an email with more information on how to volunteer to be an advisor through the Fighting Links project.”

The last food market of the semester will be THIS Wednesday, Dec. 11th in the cafeteria after school until 3:30. You do not need to bring anything and everyone is welcome!
