Attention all thespians: Auditions for Lincoln High Theatre’s Musical are NEXT WEEK! Make sure to get on the google classroom in order u1dk7v to find any music or choreography you need to learn to prepare for your audition. Also, stop by the tech room in the theatre hall to grab an audition packet and have it filled out and signed by a parent before your audition!

Teachers, please remember to share the MTSS-B Lesson with your 5th period class TODAY. The lesson is brought to you by HOPE SQUAD. It’s a quick informational lesson about Hope Squad and Fighting Links and how students can get involved. The jump code for the nomination form is PMYG.

Here’s a message from the 25th anniversary Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Youth Rally & March Planning Committee:
Join us for tomorrow’s My “Walk” Empowerment session featuring Pablo Cervantes and his talk entitled, “A Walk from Mexico.” Mr. Cervantes will discuss his journey as a professional dancer, entrepreneur, and advocate. He’ll share when nudges along his “walk” changed things and took his life in a different direction. Come hear his story tomorrow after school at 2:15 in the Ted Sorensen Theatre. His talk is free and open to the public.

“Slam Poetry will be holding “Open Slam Practice” on Thursdays after school in Room 234 Mezzanine from 3:15pm to 4:15pm until the end of first semester.
*All are welcome; but practices are not required. Contact coach Deets for more information.

“Starting today, Mike Wolf Sr. from the Ponca tribe will be available to meet with Native American students in room 100G in the Media Center. Mike welcomes students to come learn more about Native American culture and how to honor that as you journey through modern life. Native American PEP will meet TODAY in 100G and every Tuesday during all lunch periods EXCEPT for Club Days.

We would like to congratulate Shayla Sadowski on being crowned the ANTSO (American National Teenager Scholarship Organization) National Sweetheart for 2020. She received a college scholarship and will get to travel to many places this year to represent ANTSO. Congratulations Shayla!

The last food market of the semester will be TOMORROW, Wednesday, Dec. 11th in the cafeteria after school until 3:30. You do not need to bring anything and everyone is welcome!

“The Pine Ridge reservation is in need of winter wear! Drop off your gently used winter coats, hats and gloves for all ages and sizes. They’re especially looking for men’s coats size large and up.
Items can be dropped off in the Family Resource Center at LHS or at the following locations: Meadowlark Coffee and Espresso, Tamayta, Open Harvest Co-op Grocery, The Hot Mess, and the Indian Center during specified times.
Items should be donated now through this coming Sunday, December 15th. Thank you for helping keep others warm this winter!”

All Boys who signed up for indoor soccer need to get their money into Coach Cerny ASAP. We have more people who want to play than there are spots, so those that pay first will guarantee their spot for second session.

Air Force ROTC will be here in the cafeteria on Tuesday over the lunches. Please stop by their table if you would like to visit with them.
