“Looking for some unique classes to take next school year? Trying to find the perfect weighted math or technology course? Then sign up for AP Statistics or AP Computer Science Principles! AP Stats teaches you how to analyze and interpret data–skills that are invaluable after high school–and AP Computer Science Principles is a class designed for people who are interested in computer science but have little or no experience with computer science or programming. If you want to know how computers talk, learn what Snapchat does with your data, or learn how to build an app, then this is the class for you! If you’re interested in either of these classes, talk to Mr. Meyer.

All students who signed up for work experience this semester need to attend a 20 minute orientation meeting TODAY Tuesday, Jan. 14 in room 212 at 2:15pm. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Ms Carlson in room 207.

I’m Grace. And I’m ABO Joe. And we’re from Red Cross Club.
Only 37 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood – less than 10 percent do annually. About one in seven people entering a hospital need blood. Just your donation of one pint of blood can save up to three lives.” that means that if all of the 20 students in your class where to donate blood, as many as 60 lives could be saved ! This Friday, January 17th, Lincoln High will be holding our second blood drive of the year! Your blood will go to the Nebraska Community Blood Bank and will be transported all over the state. Forms to sign up can be found in Mr. Riley’s room (room 138 in band hall) or can be picked up at the attendance office. You must be at least 16 years to sign up.Turn in your forms to a Red Cross member or the office. When you turn in your forms, there will be a sign up sheet in the attendance office which will have a time and period to sign up for when you would like to donate. After your donation, you will get snacks like cookies and juice. Even if you hate needles, you can still be a hero today! So please make the decision to give blood and make a difference in somebody’s life.
