Buena Vista University will be in the Counseling Center 2nd period today and tomorrow. Please get a pass from your teacher to come visit the rep in the Counseling Center.

College Club will be starting next Tuesday September 10th.
Remember that all students MUST Be in a supervised activity by 2:15pm. You will need a pass if arriving after this time. Once students leave the building, they will not be able to reenter.

Attention all Lincoln High students, beginning on Wednesday, September 4th, And every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afterwards the Lincoln High Swimming and Diving Team will be hosting the “The Power Hour,” in the Lincoln High Swimming Pool.What is the “The Power Hour” you ask? “The Power Hour” is an opportunity for you to raise your fitness to a higher level through intense exercise. Exercises will consist of calisthenics, running, lap swimming, and weight training.Best of all, the power Hour is open to all Lincoln High students who are not currently out for a fall sport or activity. So if you are ready to improve yourself, and get in excellent shape, be at the pool Wednesday, September 4th at 3:15, with your running shoes, shorts, and swim suit and be ready to work! Homecoming is coming up on Friday, October 11. Student Council wants to hear your voice. If there’s a theme you would like to see for Homecoming, use the jump code YZOC to submit your theme idea! Student Council members will also be in the Cafeteria on TODAY to collect theme ideas.

I’m Juliana Quattrocchi, the captain of the Lincoln High Speech Team.
And I’m Samantha Roblyer, the interim captain of the Lincoln High Speech Team.
Speech is an NSAA sanctioned competitive activity, so you can compete at the state and national levels. Whether you’re looking to overcome a fear of public speaking, embrace your acting skills, deliver your big ideas to the world, or just want to make some more friends, speech is for you. If you want to learn more about the speech team, join us at our informational meeting on Wednesday, Sept 4th in room 302 from 3:15 – 4:00 p.m. See a speech team member or talk to coach Joel White: jwhite3@lps.org. Remember, power to the voice is power to the people.
