– Hip Hop Dance Collective is holding their first meeting today in the Cafeteria!

 All levels of dancers are welcome to come explore the wide world of Hip Hop Dance!

– CityLight High meets in Room 100M

– Latina Leaders meets in Room 114

– Life After High School is in Room 100L

– Magic the Gathering meets in Room 104

– Homework Zone including Math tutoring will be in the Media Center

*Joven Noble will begin on Monday September 23rd

Interested in being a business leader? Then FBLA could be for you! Join them Wednesday after school in Room 213 for their ice cream social. Learn a little bit about FBLA and enjoy a cool treat!

Have you ever wished you could be a better public speaker? Do you enjoy acting? Do you have an important message to share? Do you wish you could win medals and trophies just for talking? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then LHS Speech Team has a place for YOU! If you weren’t able to attend our informational meeting, but are still curious about the Speech Team, we welcome new members throughout the fall semester! Please join us ANY Monday in Room 302 after school to learn more! 

In LHS Sports 

Congratulations to the Varsity boys tennis team for their victory over Fremont by a score of 5-4 in the dual meet last Thursday. Winning for the Links were Pablo Souto at #2 Singles, Phu Le at #4 Singles, Amir Tarkian at #6 Singles, 

Chris Penas-Hull and Pablo Suoto at #1 Doubles, and Nico Sepahpur and Walker Wood at #2 Doubles. Lewis Schultz and Walker Wood also won in extra singles matches.

Today we have only one team playing. 

JV Football takes on Lincoln East at Seacrest Field tonight at 5:00 PM

Fellowship of Christian Athletes members, Tuesday is the time to make the long walk up to Room 402, at 7:15 a.m., for the next FCA Morning Meeting. They’’ll look at all the different “lucky charms” people use and discuss which ones work and which ones don’t. Come see them Tuesday morning.

And on the lunch menu today we have: 

Popcorn Chicken, Cheeseburger on Bun, or a Chef Salad

MEATLESS ENTRÉES are
