Paul Mitchell – Cosmetology will be here 2nd period in the Counseling Center TODAY. Please get a pass from your 2nd period teacher before coming to the Counseling Center.

Seniors – check your inbox. If you applied to National Honor Society this semester, the decisions have been made, and have been sent to you. If you have questions, see Mr. West in room 335.  Links – Diversity, Unity, Excellence, and Tradition – that’s what NHS is all about! Congratulations to the new members.

Also, the first NHS meeting for this school year will happen on Tuesday, September 17 in room 300 at 7 am. Please plan on being there!  Contact Ava Baird or Mr. West with any questions.”

Outstanding demonstration of Grit and the Vital Links of Tradition and Excellence for the Varsity Softball Team in their come-from-behind Win against Omaha Bryan, with a final score of 18-17!! 

And in sports: 

This morning at 9, there’s a Girls’ Varsity Lincoln Southeast Invitational on the Highlands Golf Course

At 4pm, Boys Reserve Tennis will face off against Northeast, Boys JV and Varsity tennis will be playing against Hastings with JV playing at LHS and Varsity at Woods

At 5pm, Reserve Softball will play Fremont at Schilke Fields, and Varsity Softball will have a doubleheader against Freemont, also at Schilke Fields, with JV playing at 6:30.

At 5pm, Freshman Volleyball will face North Star and Lincoln Lutheran in a triangular at Lincoln Lutheran

At 6pm, Freshman football will play East at LHS

There are NO After School Opportunities today due to Parent Teacher Conferences. Thursdays’ After School Opportunities will resume next Thursday. We will see you back at LHS tonight from 4-7pm!

This Saturday, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., is the third and final Tech Saturday for Dracula. All cast and crew are encouraged to come and lend a hand. Be there or be square.
