Good morning, Lincoln High! Welcome to LINKS LIVE!  The Lincoln High Morning News Show.

Today in LHS Sports: 

Girls JV Golf already tee’d off this morning in the Lincoln Southwest Invitational at Mahoney Golf Course.

Boys Reserve and JV Tennis will face off against the Lincoln Southeast Knights at 4:00. JV is at Southeast and Reserve is here at LHS.

Varsity Softball will travel to Fontanelle Fields to play Omaha North at 5:00

Freshman, Reserve, JV and Varsity Volleyball plays at Fremont with Freshman and JV playing at 5:30. Reserve and Varsity will play at 6:30.

And here are some additional scores from the weekend: 

Reserve softball defeated Lincoln Northeast on Saturday  35-22!  Yes that score is correct. 

Kirsten Bruce was the winning pitcher.  Each player scored 3 runs or more!!

Players’ hit totals were: Savanna Lovette with 4,  3 each by: Alayia Coleman & Augustine Hegwood, and 2 each by: Emersyn Liljehorn & Jadeyn Saddler.

Congratulations to the Lincoln High Cross-Country team for the stellar efforts put forth at the Kearney High Invite on Friday, September 13. On the boys side, freshman Jackson McNeese was 10th, running a 17:45 Five K. On the girls side, freshman Kennedy Bartee was 3rd, running a 20:35, junior Olivia DiLillo was 4th, running 21:00, junior Taylor Kruse was 7th, running a 21:17, and junior Lola Agena was 12th, running a 21:35. These 4 individual medalists led the girls cross-country team to a first place finish at the meet.

Remember that Homecoming Theme Voting continues this week. The choices are Enchanted Forest, Autumn Coming, or Starry Starry Night. Use the Jump code: ODY9 to vote for your favorite by Friday.

• Yugi-O Players are taking over Games Galore Today!. Other games can be played during this time, but we will have a student leading Yugi-O. Beginners and Seasoned players are welcome to attend. 
• Kaleidoscope meeting in Room 101
• Intramural Basketball is in South Gym
• Homework Zone at 2:15 in the Media Center including English Tutoring starting at 3:15
• College Club meeting in Room 100F. 
• And Untold Migrant Stories meeting in Room 100L

For our Staff Birthday Shout-Out, be sure to wish Ms. Stetson a Happy Birthday today.
