Good morning, Lincoln High! Welcome to LINKS LIVE!  The Lincoln High Morning News Show.

As a reminder, any student who has unserved detentions is placed on the Ineligible List. This means you are not allowed to participate in, or attend, any school activities. These include plays, musicals, athletic events, next week’s Festivus, or Homecoming. In order to get off of this list, you must serve a one hour detention. To stay off this list, you need to go to your classes and get there on-time. Please see you administrator if you have any questions.

Joseph’s College – Cosmetology will be in the Counseling Center during 3rd pd. on Friday. Please get a pass from your teacher before coming to this college visit.

And now here’s Avalena Baird with today’s LHS sports news:

Varsity Girls Golf team is playing in the Lincoln Northeast Invitational at Mahoney Golf Course as we speak

JV and Varsity Cross Country is at Pioneers Park at 3:30

JV and Varsity Boys Tennis is traveling to Bellevue East this afternoon. Both teams start at 4pm against Bellevue East.

Reserve Volleyball will face Bellevue West, Lincoln East and Fremont in Fremont starting at 4:30

Freshman Football will face the Knights of Lincoln Southeast at 5pm at Southeast.

Reserve, JV, and Varsity Softball is facing off against Norfolk at Doris Bair. Varsity has a double header starting at 5:00, JV also starts at 5:00, and Reserve starts at 6:30.

Freshman, JV and Varsity Volleyball will all play at LHS. All teams will face Omaha Benson and Omaha Northwest will all games starting at 5:00.

Senior Parents/Guardians and Students are invited to the LHS Cafeteria NEXT THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH FROM 8:15 – 9:00 AM for coffee, juice and donuts and to learn more about applying for the FAFSA and Financial Aid for College from RJ Vega, a representative from EducationQuest.Please RSVP on the front page of the LHS Website.
