Good morning, Lincoln High! Welcome to LINKS LIVE!  The Lincoln High Morning News Show.

Today in Sports:

Boys Varsity Tennis will play at 9am in the Lincoln North Star Invitational at Woods Tennis Center

Varsity Football will travel to Omaha Central to take on the Eagles. Kick off is at 7:00.

Saturday’s action includes:

Varsity and JV Cross Country will race at Bryan at 8:30

And Varsity Softball will play at Gallager Park in an Invitational starting at 9:00

African American Caucus has a field trip coming up for Seniors Only. The Fall Black Leadership Symposium at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is on November 6th. If you are interested in going to this great event please email Miss Overstreet or locate her in room 136B periods 5-6 or after school. You will have until Oct. 4th to decide if you would like to attend The Black Leadership Symposium. Thank you!

On Wednesday during Dungeons and Dragons club the Mad Men without mouths had a glorious victory against the hideous Spider Queen Arania and her Spider Army. The Dragon clan continues their journey East to the forge of the fire giants. While in a sad turn of events 1 of our characters died of old age at the age of 123. He is survived by his 3 minotaur children Ed, Secretariat, and Lou and his wife Agnus.

 

And on the lunch menu today, we have

French Toast Sticks with Sausage Links, Personal Hamburger Pizza, Hot and Spicy Chicken Sandwich, or a Chef Salad

Meatless Entrées include: French Toast Sticks with Cheese Sticks, or a Meatless Chef Salad with a Roll
