Good morning, Lincoln High! Welcome to LINKS LIVE!  The Lincoln High Morning News Show.

I’m, Tyler Schumacher, and I’m Avalena Baird

Are you falling behind in an English class?  Need some extra help or just a quiet, supportive place to work?  You are welcome to join the English After school Resource Center in Room #316 with Ms. Rennings, any Monday or Wednesday, from 3:15 – 4:15.  Stay just long enough to get the help you need or the entire hour! It’s up to you! Teachers can assign students to ARC, but students are encouraged to come in voluntarily to get their needs met.  There are ARC sessions for art, business, math, science, social studies, and world language classes, too. Get the help you need to meet your academic goals from Lincoln High teachers! See you there!

Today’s After school Opportunities:

– CityLight High meeting in Room 100M – cancelled for time being

– Latina Leaders meeting in Room 114

Here’s an announcement from Student Council

I’m Juliana Quattrocchi on behalf of your friendly neighborhood student council. Thank you so much to all of the administrators, teachers, and volunteers who made Home Coming a success. We sold over 930 tickets to students who danced the night away in an enchanted forest. Students who attended HoCo, you can fill out a survey of how HoCo went this year by using this jumpcode: . If you want to help plan events like Home Coming, consider applying to be a Student Council member second semester. Applications will be available later this quarter. Go links!

And here’s Alex Martin with your Homecoming Royalty.

Here’s an announcement from Yearbook

Hi my name is Naomi Rodriguez from the Lincoln High Yearbook staff. If you did anything fun or exciting this summer we would love to put your pictures in the yearbook! Enter the jump code YKPS and fill out the form!

Attention Students!  It’s very important that you check your school email on a regular basis.  There are many things that may be sent through email; a note from a teacher, message from a counselor, reminders of an event you signed up for, detention notice, etc.  You WILL NOT get a pass to attend an event, but rather an email reminder. So, please, get in the habit of checking your email at least once per day. Once you get to college, this will become even more important, so get in the habit now!

Does your group have information you want everyone to know? Have your sponsor send us the information, or submit your own video for us to include in the morning broadcast. You can also stop by the LinksLive! Studio in Room 308 to film your announcement.

“Have you ever wished you could be a better public speaker?  Do you enjoy acting? Do you have an important message to share?  Do you wish you could win medals and trophies just for talking? If you answered “”yes”” to any of these questions, then LHS Speech Team has a place for YOU!

If you weren’t able to attend our informational meeting, but are still curious about the Speech Team, we welcome new members throughout the fall semester!  Please join us ANY Monday in Room 302 after school to learn more! “

TODAY is the LHS Baseball field clean up day.

315 PM until done. See Coach Beierman for details.

Today in Sports:
