Monday, October 28 2019

Good morning, Lincoln High! Welcome to LINKS LIVE! The Lincoln High Morning News Show.

I’m Liam Ducey and I’m Tyler Schumacher

There will be a Mandatory Wrestling meeting on Wednesday Oct 30th at 3:15pm in the Wrestling Room. If you have any questions please talk to Coach Genrich.

Have you ever wished you could be a better public speaker? Do you enjoy acting? Do you have an important message to share? Do you wish you could win medals and trophies just for talking? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then LHS Speech Team has a place for YOU!

If you weren’t able to attend our informational meeting, but are still curious about the Speech Team, we welcome new members throughout the fall semester! Please join us ANY Monday in Room 302 after school to learn more!

And now a message from Hope Squad

And now an announcement from Student Council and SCIP – The School Community Intervention Program – Popcorn lung can be caused by vaping. It occurs when the substance causes scarring in the lungs. As the symptoms progress, treatment becomes more challenging. The long term outlook depends on the severity of the scarring and can be fatal. There is no cure for popcorn lung.

Lincoln High Theatre will be having a fundraiser at Novel Idea from 5pm-8pm November 1st. The fundraiser will be all day and anyone is welcome to come down and buy a book! All proceeds go to Lincoln High Theatre and to those who would like to sign up and support our theatre the sign up sheet is on the tech room doors and if you don’t have anything “costume-like” to wear, meet Lily Anderson at the basement door on October 30th.

Here’s another fantastic announcement from Fellowship of Christian Athletes! If you want to genuinely impact your friends and teammates, you should begin practicing “pivot relationships.” Don’t know what that is? No worries, because we’ll explain it all for you tomorrow at 7:15 a.m. in Room 402. The whole meeting will only last 20 minutes and be well worth your time!
