Here’s another fantastic announcement from Fellowship of Christian Athletes! Our weekly FCA Movie Quote winner was Cole Hardy, who correctly guessed “Avengers Endgame.” Thanks to everyone that played and hey, congratulations Cole!

“Native American Students! Join us for Rock Your Moccs!
This event will bring together Native students from Lincoln High, North Star and NorthEast High schools. This is a time and space for Native youth to connect and collaborate. We will have fry bread and fun!
Join us THIS FRIDAY November 15th from 4-5:30pm at the Indian Center.

Lincoln High’s Annual Fundraiser, Hoops 4 Hope, is Friday, November 15th in Johnson Gym at 7 pm. Admission is only $5.

Wednesday Morning 4 LHS Student Athletes signed Letters of Intent. Harper Lawson signed to the University of Georgia for Equestrian. Brynna Madison signed to Mount Mercy University for Bowling. Nyayien Koang signed to Northwestern State University and Nyayongah Gony signed to the University of Miami both for Basketball. And now results from last night’s unified bowling dual against Lincoln Southeast.

Peyton: And I’m Peyton Davis and Here’s Public Service Announcement from HOSA.
Margaux: Thank you to everyone who wore gray today to help spread awareness for brain cancer.
Peyton: Brain cancer, specifically in kids, lacks funding & research.
Margaux: Kids as young as 3, receive chemotherapy, a drug that attacks the cancer cells to stop thier growth.
Peyton: Kids are receiving the same drugs as adults because chemotherapy specifically formed for children hasn’t been developed yet.

Margaux: Kids are left with long term side effects that affect their learning, and everyday life.
Peyton: Brain tumors are the leading cause of death in children between the ages of 0-14.
Margaux: Nebraska HOSA is partnering with Team Jack promote funding and research of pediatric brain cancer. HOSA is selling wristbands for a $1 for HOSA Hat Friday. Wristbands purchased this morning or today during lunche, will be delivered to first period tomorrow. Wristbands may be purchased tomorrow morning at the North & South doors tomorrow too.
Peyton: With your wristband you may wear a hat on Friday, No Hoods please. And 100% of proceeds and donations will go to Team Jack!

LHS D&D club will be hosting the second annual Dungeons and Dollars in the Media Center from 4:30pm to 11:59pm. If you are interested in attending the cost is $7 at the door. The cost will include a random character sheet based on what character class you want and dinner. If you are interested please fill out the google form by entering the code ‘YTPP’
