Remember that Club Day is TODAY! Remember that you MUST be signed up in order to attend club meetings today. You will NOT be excused from class if you are not on the official roster. Contact the club sponsor to get on the list for NEXT Club Day if you have not already signed up. You do not have to go to your regularly scheduled class first. Go directly to your club meeting, and don’t be late, or you may be counted tardy.

The Army will be in the cafeteria during 5th period on Wednesday. Stop by to see them at their table if you are interested.

Musical Auditions are coming! This year’s musical is “The Music Man.” Auditions for this amazing show will be held on December 17th and 18th in the Ted Sorensen Theatre.
Auditions forms can be found in room 130 and outside 217. Sign up for an audition time soon. And also join the Theatre Google classroom and check out “The Music Man” audition folder for scenes, videos and music. Classroom code: u1dk7v

The Lincoln High Art Department would like to invite students, staff, friends, and family to join us for our annual Fall Art Show! The show will be on display in the media center & cafeteria until December 13th, with a reception on Thursday, December 5th from 5 to 6:30 pm. Please join them on December 5th for food, art, and festivity. Come support your amazing visual artists at this event!

Today in sports:
Unified Bowling will be competing at Parkway Lanes at 3:30 in the NSAA District Tournament.
All Unified Bowlers participating in Districts please plan to load the bus at 2:30 for District Competition. Those Unified Bowlers coming to support the team will also load at this time. The bus will be at the globe.. Go Links!!!

After school workouts begin this week. These workouts are for any student athlete not in a Winter sport and any Lincoln High student interested in working out. Workouts are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays throughout the week. Meet by the weight room after school at 3:15 and we will begin by 3:30. The first cycle of workouts will run until December 12th. We will be off for finals and then pick back up when we return from Winter break. If you have questions talk to Coach Beckmann.

All girls going out for softball next year and not currently in a winter sport, there will be a short meeting this Wednesday in Room 116 (Coach Simpson’s room) at 3:10 p.m.

The Pine Ridge reservation is in need of winter wear! Drop off your gently used winter coats, hats and gloves for all ages and sizes. There is a special need for men’s coats size large and up.
Items can be dropped off in the Family Resource Center at LHS or at the following locations: Meadowlark Coffee and Espresso, Tamayta, Open Harvest Co-op Grocery, The Hot Mess, and the Indian Center during specific times.
Items should be donated now through Sunday, December 15th. Thank you for helping keep others warm this winter!

Attention all thespians! Lincoln High’s one act will be taking Gretna’s stage for our District Competition today at 2:45. The public performance of Second Samuel will be Friday at 7 pm . Tickets are 5 dollars and you can get them from any cast member or at the door! See you there!

I’m Juliana Quattrocchi on behalf of your friendly neighborhood student council. Thank you to all those who applied to be on Student Council second semester. Applicants, please check your school emails to find your interview time slot tomorrow after school in the media center. This week is kindness Week, so look around the hallways at the various pieces of art our council has put up around the building to remind us of what we’re thankful for and to be kind to one another. This is a stressful time of year, so be patient with your peers and staff members. On another note, the Winter Informal is here! This Saturday! If you want a place to relax and dance and listen to music, come and attend the Informal! The Informal will be on Saturday, December 7th, from 7-10 PM in the South Gym. Admission is $5 but if you bring a non perishable food item admission is $3 at the door. We’ll see you there. Go links!
