Gooooooooood Morning Lincoln High, Welcome to LinksLive! The Lincoln High Morning News Show

I’m Liam Ducey, and I’m Avalena Baird.

Congratulations to the LHS One Act Cast and Crew for their fourth place finish at the State One Act Competition this weekend. Way to go, LHS Theatre.

Attention all thespians: Auditions for Lincoln High Theatre’s Musical are THIS WEEK STARTING TOMORROW! Make sure to get on the google classroom in order to find any music or choreography you need to learn to prepare for your audition. Also, stop by the tech room in the theatre hall to grab an audition packet and have it filled out and signed by a parent before your audition!

Take a break from studying TOMORROW and come eat dinner at Arby’s on 14th and Q from 5-8pm. 10% of the profit goes to helping our LHS STEM students go to Boston this summer where they will participate in once in a lifetime STEM opportunities. Please show us your support and your appetite!

“Have you ever wished you could be a better public speaker? Are you still curious about the Speech Team, we welcome new members throughout the fall semester! Please join us TODAY AND Monday in Room 302 after school to learn more! ”

[recorded already]
“Hey, It’s Theron from Hope Squad. We’re here to let you know that we care for you with a Monday Motivation for Hope quote.
This week’s quote says “Do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day’s own trouble be sufficient for the day.”
This quote is from Jesus Christ. We wanted to remind you that we care about you and you should keep hope near. Have a great week guys!

English After school Resource Center – ARC – meets TODAY – and every Monday and Wednesday – in Room #316 with Ms. Rennings from 3:15 – 4:15. There are also ARC sessions for art, business, math, science, social studies, and world language classes, too. Get the help you need to meet your academic goals from Lincoln High teachers! See you there!

Here’s another fantastic announcement from Fellowship of Christian Athletes! In just 9 days, many of you will be celebrating Christmas. While FCA recognizes that there are a lot of different ways to celebrate it, we want to focus on “The Reason for the Season.” So if you’d like to join us for that, be in Room 402 by 7:15 a.m. And from everyone at Fellowship of Christian Athletes, we hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Juniors and Seniors: Are you interested in getting credit while working your job? Yes, that’s right, if you have a job, you can get up to 10 elective credits in a semester! Sign up using jump code PQG3. Deadline is January 10th. Don’t wait, sign up now. Again, that jump code is PQG3.

“Seniors, if you’re planning on attending SCC and interested in taking or retaking the ACCUPLACER, you are encouraged to sign up for the next testing date on Thursdsay, 2/27/2020. The jumpcode is YAYC or follow the link posted in your Class of 2020 LHS. Please be sure to check your emails daily for important information/announcements. Any questions regarding ACCUPLACER, please see Ms. Nguyen in the Counseling Center.

Reminder-Hope Squad and Fighting Links nominations are happening now. The deadline to nominate has been extended to TOMORROW Tuesday, December 17th. Use jump code PMYG to nominate someone you feel comfortable talking to.
“No after school groups today due to finals this week. You can join us in the Media Center for STUDY TIME after school until 7pm.
