Good morning Lincoln High, Welcome to LinksLive! The Lincoln High Morning News Show.

Are you needing additional support? Does a small group setting interest you? Then consider one of our many group supports starting this semester. We have groups to cover many topics including grief, trauma and coping strategies. If you want more info on any of these groups or other supports offered at LHS, reach out to the school social worker, Kate Eilers in the counseling center.

“Save the Date! You are Invited to the 2020 Momentum Show Choir Premiere Night! Our Varsity Show Choir, Momentum, will reveal their 2020 Competition Show on January 9th at 7:30 PM in the Ted Sorensen Theatre.
Our concept this year is BORN FOR GREATNESS. Featuring arrangements by artists: Pentatonix, Hardwell and Mahone, Kirk Franklin, Leonard Bernstein, Sara Bareilles, Bill Withers, Judy Garland, and Papa Roach. Please come and support! Juniors and Seniors: Are you interested in getting credit while working your job? Yes, that’s right, if you have a job, you can get up to 10 elective credits in a semester! Sign up using jump code PQG3. Deadline is January 10th. Don’t wait, sign up now. Again, that jump code is PQG3.

Attention All Lincoln High School Student Athletes not currently out for a winter sport and all LHS students interested in working out. After school workouts are Monday, Wed, and Thursdays after school starting at 3:30. We will begin Wed, Jan 8th and go until Feb 13th. If you have questions please see Coach Beckmann.
The Navy will be in the cafeteria during 5th pd. on Thursday. Please stop at their table if you would like to visit with them.

All Boys, not in a winter sport, that are interested in playing boys soccer this spring should attend a short meeting after school on Friday, January 10, at 3:15pm in the Athletic Conference Room. We will discuss offseason conditioning and the upcoming season.

Nebraska Air Guard will be in the cafeteria during 5th period on Friday. Stop by their table if you would like to visit with them.

“Attention all LHS students!!! THE Lincoln High Slam Poetry Team will be holding PRACTICES on FRIDAY’s at 3:15pm….in room #235 on the Mezzanine (that’s in ‘The Foundry Space’)!!!
