Juniors and Seniors: Want to get school credit while working your job? Yes, that’s right, if you have a job, you can get up to 10 elective credits in a semester! Sign up using jump code PQG3. The deadline is January 10th, which is today. Don’t wait, sign up now. Again, that jump code is PQG3.

Attention All Lincoln High School Student Athletes not currently out for a winter sport and all LHS students interested in working out. After school workouts are Monday, Wed, and Thursdays after school starting at 3:30. We will begin Wed, Jan 8th and go until Feb 13th. If you have questions please see Coach Beckmann.

All Boys, not in a winter sport, that are interested in playing boys soccer this spring should attend a short meeting after school on Friday, January 10, at 3:15pm in the Athletic Conference Room. We will discuss offseason conditioning and the upcoming season.

Nebraska Air Guard will be in the cafeteria during 5th period today. Stop by their table if you would like to visit with them.

Are you needing additional support? Does a small group setting interest you? Then consider one of our many group supports starting this semester. We have groups to cover many topics including grief, trauma and coping strategies. If you want more info on any of these groups or other supports offered at LHS, reach out to the school social worker, Kate Eilers in the Counseling Center.

“Seniors, remember if you’re planning on attending SCC and interested in taking or retaking the ACCUPLACER, you are encouraged to sign up for the next testing date on Thursday, 2/27/2020. The jumpcode is YAYC or follow the link posted in your Class of 2020 LHS. Please be sure to check your emails daily for important information/announcements or see Ms. Nguyen in the Counseling Center.

“Attention all LHS students!!! THE Lincoln High Slam Poetry Team will be holding PRACTICES TODAY and future FRIDAYS at 3:15pm….in room #235 on the Mezzanine (that’s in ‘The Foundry Space’)!!! Any LHS student interested in learning more about LHS Slam Poetry should attend!!!! *Try-outs will be held on January 24th; please email/gmail contact Jen Deets for more information on this exciting opportunity for Lincoln High ‘WRITERS, EDITORS, POETS & SPOKEN WORD PERFORMERS’!!!

Starting NEXT Monday the LHS CLC is excited to offer FREE DINNER to students. Dinner will be served and eaten in the cafeteria between 4:30 and 5pm Monday through Thursday.
