Creative Center/College of Art & Design will be in the Counseling Center on Monday,
Feb. 3rd during 4th pd. Please get a pass from your 4th period teacher before coming to the Counseling Center.

“Hey links! tonight the links basketball teams will be taking on the Kearney bearcats here at Lincoln High. The theme for tonight’s game will be purple and gold!
So come out and wear your favorite purple or yellow clothes and support the Links to a victory!
Girls varsity is at 5:45 and boys varsity is at 7:30!”

“This Sunday we invite you to come learn about alternative education environments through the documentary Wild Learning: Common Values for Unconventional Education.

We are hosting local filmmakers Kelly Seacrest and Peter Stegen to share their amazing documentary that showcases interviews of educators and students in alternative education environments from around the country.

After the documentary we ask viewers to join us for a conversation about how alternative learning environments can strengthen our community.

This event is Sunday February 2nd in the Lincoln High Media Center from 1-3pm. Refreshments will be provided -We hope you join us for this exploration and conversation!”

Tomorrow, Saturday February 1st, the High School CLCs invite Indigenous youth and their families to a game day event at the Lincoln Indian Center. We will have lots of board and card games, pizza, and cultural practices including Round Dance. We hope you can join us for this fun event!

Reminder from Red Cross Club that the Blood Drive that was scheduled on snow day of January 17th has been rescheduled for next Monday, February 3rd. If you had signed up to donate for the 17th, expect a pass from one of the Red Cross Club members on Monday for your time to donate. Thank you in advance from Mr Riley, Ms Cotton, and the entire Red Cross Club!

Attention All LHS students interested in TRYING-OUT for our LHS Slam Poetry Team this year!!! Slam Team try-outs will be held TODAY @ 3:15pm in the Mezzanine room #235 in the Foundry Space.

Students interested in applying to be an EDITOR &/or WRITER for our 2020 Slam Poetry Team this year, you do NOT have to attend this Friday’s try-outs, BUT, we do need you to fill out an application/permission form to participate before February 7th or at our Friday February 7th Slam Team Practice. AND know that this year’s schedule will include other opportunities for non-performance poets, writers, and editors to share their writing and work formally & informally.

Girls and Boys Varsity, JV, and Reserve teams all take on the Kearney Bearcats tonight at Lincoln High.

Girls JV plays at plays at 4:15, Girls Varsity plays at 5:45, Girls Reserve plays at 7:30.
Boys JV starts at 4:15, Boys Reserve starts at 5:45 and Boys Varsity starts at 7:30

Reminder – there is NO dinner on Fridays, but we will have snacks for students in CLC programming!
