Reminder from Red Cross Club that the Blood Drive is TODAY If you had signed up to donate, expect a pass from one of the Red Cross Club members this morning for your time to donate. Thank you from Mr Riley, Ms Cotton, and the entire Red Cross Club!

Have you ever wished you could be a better public speaker? Do you enjoy acting? Do you have an important message to share? The LHS Speech Team, welcomes new members throughout the fall semester! Please join us ANY Monday in Room 302 after school to learn more!

Anyone interested in playing boys golf this season, there will be a 5-10 minute meeting on Monday Feb. 10th in room 144 at 3:15.

English After school Resource Center – ARC – meets TODAY – and every Monday and Wednesday – in Room #316 with Ms. Rennings from 3:15 – 4:15. There are also ARC sessions for art, business, math, science, social studies, and world language classes, too. Get the help you need to meet your academic goals from Lincoln High teachers! See you there!

“Seniors, if you’re planning on attending SCC and interested in taking or retaking the ACCUPLACER, you are encouraged to sign up for the next testing date on Thursday, 2/27/2020. The jumpcode is YAYC or follow the link posted in your Class of 2020 LHS. Please be sure to check your emails daily for important information/announcements. Any questions regarding ACCUPLACER, please see Ms. Nguyen in the Counseling Center.

Black History Month Fact of the Day
President Gerald Ford officially recognized Black History Month in 1976, calling upon the public to “seize the opportunity to honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history.”

“Here’s another fantastic announcement from Fellowship of Christian Athletes! How many of you would be willing to help someone else, but only if you got something in return? Unfortunately, there are a lot of people like that, so on Tuesday morning we’ll be talking about how to fix that character flaw with “The Rebekah Principle.” Never heard of it before? Don’t worry! We’ve got you covered tomorrow at 7:15, in Mr. Droud’s room. Hope to see you there!

All boys not in a winter sport who are interested in playing soccer this spring should attend a brief meeting Friday, February 7 at 3:15pm in room 157 (The Athletic Conference Room). We will discuss the remainder of the preseason, getting ready for tryouts, and what to expect for tryouts.

Freshman and Reserve Girls Basketball teams take on Pius the Tenth at Lincoln High. Freshmen play at at 5:45 p.m. and Reserves play at 7:15 p.m.
JV and Girls Basketball competes in the LPS Championship at Lincoln Southwest at 6 p.m.

A reminder that we have begun serving free dinner at LHS every Monday-Thursday night from 4:30pm-5pm in our cafeteria. Stop by after you get done with practice, ARC, or a CLC club and grab a free meal.

Today’s Dinner Menu: Lemon chicken on rice with mixed vegetables and side of fruit.
Dinner is served and eaten in the LHS Cafeteria between 4:30-5pm. This is a FREE meal for any student.

On the lunch menu today we have:
