There will even be some community members and staff from the District Office coming to visit LHS and participate with us! Please email Miss Overstreet as to which class period you would like to come. Thanks from African American Caucus and Student Council.

Hello Lincoln High, I’m Marcus McLaughlin from African American Caucus, and this is your black history month fact of the day. Lewis Latimer was an engineer in the late 19th and early 20th century. He worked with Alexander Graham Bell and Thomas Edison to invent the telephone and the lightbulb respectively. He continued to work as a patent consultant and draftsman after working with those minds. Thank you from African American Caucus.
Here’s another fantastic announcement from Fellowship of Christian Athletes! On Tuesday morning FCA will be meeting in Mr. Droud’s room at 7:15. Everyone is invited, so if you’ve never been or haven’t been to a meeting in a while, make your way up to the fourth floor for food, fellowship and fun!
“Do you love to dance? Do you love to sweat? Do you love to ZUMBA?
Starting NEXT Friday, we invite students AND staff to this moving opportunity. Join Sarah Thomas and Mrs. Flora in room 300 after school Fridays for ZUMBA starting around 3:15pm.
