Good morning Lincoln High, Welcome to LinksLive! The Lincoln High Morning News Show.

Remember that Club Day is TODAY! Remember that you MUST be signed up in order to attend club meetings today. You will NOT be excused from class if you are not on the official roster. Contact the club sponsor to get on the list for NEXT Club Day if you have not already signed up. You do not have to go to your regularly scheduled class first. Go directly to your club meeting, and don’t be late, or you may be counted tardy.

Congratulations to the Lincoln High Girls and Boys Swimming and Diving Teams for their outstanding performance at the State Championships last weekend. The Swimmers and Divers recorded 14/16 season best performances. Top individual performances included Isaiah Winston, 2nd in Boys Diving, Charles Sieglaff, 3rd in boys 50 free, Novalee Schmit, 12th in girls diving, and the boys 200 freestyle relay consisting of Aaron Harris, Breckin Killingsworth, Wail Labroucchi, and Charles Sieglaff, who made Consolation finals.

If you are a junior or senior, make sure you vote for our prom theme this week! Your options are Fairy Tale, A Night in Paris, and A Night at the Parthenon! The form to vote is on your Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 google classroom. Also, a friendly reminder that if you plan on going to prom, then you must pay your fines. Go Links!

Auditions for the spring show, The Ghosts on the Wall, will be held after school on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. The sign-up sheet for audition times is on the theatre door. Students do not need to prepare a monologue for the audition; all are welcome to audition. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Maly.

“Inclusive Communities Workshop: Tuesday March 3rd 2:15 – 4:15 pm in room 102
This is a powerful and interactive workshop that focuses on gaining greater awareness and deeper understanding of our diverse and changing community. This opportunity is offered by Inclusive Communities in partnership with LHS CLC. Join us Tuesday March 3rd in room 102 after school to learn more about forming inclusive communities and more opportunities to dive deeper into this subject matter!

“Capitol Experience Day: Monday March 9th 9am-2pm @ the Nebraska State Capitol
We are actively recruiting students to participate in the Civic Nebraska Capitol Experience Day! This is a free event to invite students to get a more hands-on experience in learning about Nebraska’s unicameral. We will visit with senators, staffers, and spend time exploring the capitol building. Lunch will be provided. We ask students to register through the form found using jump code OBYU.

The deadline is approaching for 2020 Scribe submissions! If you are a writer or artist of any kind and want to see your work published in this year’s edition of the LHS Scribe, fill out the Google form at GPYC. All works must be submitted by March 6th.

Do you have happy memories of playing games with your family and want to recreate that with your friends? Want to crush your friends and show them who is the best? Then Games Galore is your club. Come join us Tuesdays in 102 for fun times and gaming! Feel free to bring your own games too!

Wise Mind Project Is a group on Tuesdays after school to stress less, breathe more and practice mindfulness skills so you can tackle your goals!
We do fun activities like making stress balls, using guided imagery, and deep breathing.
Join us Tuesdays at 2:15 in 118 and begin to take on the world with your Wise Mind!
