A message from the Recycling Team:
Thank you to everyone that recycles in their classrooms. Not only does it help our environment, but it’s also a great learning opportunity for our students who collect the materials. Students and staff please remember (and remind others if you see them) that food of any kind should NOT be put in the recycling bins. We had a bin today that smelled so bad both students and staff almost got sick. It turned out to be rotten milk that had spilled out throughout the container. Used Kleenex is also not allowed, especially during this time when all this sickness is going around. We also had broken glass in a bin today which is really dangerous for the students emptying the containers. From now on if there is trash, food or broken glass in a bin we are just going to put it back and not recycle it for the safety of our students. Thank you so much for your attention to this issue and again we appreciate the opportunity to recycle at Lincoln High.

Do you love to dance? Do you love to sweat? Do you love to ZUMBA?
We invite students AND staff to this moving opportunity TODAY. Join Sarah Thomas and Mrs. Flora in room 300 after school Fridays for ZUMBA starting around 3:15pm.

There’s a new after school group coming. Nature Links: Environmental Action and Outdoor Exploration
Nature Links is a new after-school club starting in Quarter 4. We live in a state with lots of outdoor opportunities and some of the diverse places in the nation to do them, so let’s take advantage of that! In addition to having fun outdoors, we will have discussions on current environmental issues. As students and citizens, there are so many things we can do to enjoy and protect natural areas. Nature Links will learn about these issues and opportunities, and then take action. Join Nature Links starting Tuesday March 17th in room 106 after school. This group is led by Dakotta Staggs and Todd Paddock.

Today’s after school opportunities include:
– Life After High School meeting in 100L
– Homework Zone in the Media Center
– Zumba meeting in room 300

And on the Lunch Menu today, we have:
ENTREE
French Toast Sticks with Sausage Links
Garlic Chicken Flatbread Pizza
Hot & Spicy Chicken Sandwich
Chef Salad
MEATLESS ENTRÉE
