Good morning Lincoln High. Welcome to LinksLIVE! The Lincoln High morning news show.

How’s everybody doing? Hope you’re all well. Thanks for joining us.

I’m Rodrigo Muñoz, and I’m Alina Osborn keeping you updated on the latest news about school and the coronavirus situation.

A reminder that links to updates with all official LPS information are also available on the lps home page at lps.org

On today’s show we have some information about the ACT and some counseling services available, a message from HOPE Squad and Theatre Board, and food distribution information.

Juniors were scheduled to take the ACT across the district last week, and obviously that didn’t happen. As of now LPS does not have a set date for make-up, but as soon as we have more information we will share with all students and families.

And now here’s a message from HOPE Squad:

Hey, It’s Emma from Hope Squad. We’re here to let you know that we care for you with a Monday Motivation for Hope quote.

This week’s quote says.”Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”

This quote is from Steve Jobs . We wanted to remind you that we care about you and you should keep hope near. Have a great week guys!

Theatre students! It is time for Theatre Board elections for the 2020-2021 school year. In the after school theatre Classroom is a nomination form. If you are interested in a position please fill out the information. Elections will be in two weeks. Classroom code is 4loxni6
