Student Spotlight: Hailey Mizner
Hailey Mizner is a senior at our Lincoln High School.
She is a skilled writer and is currently working towards becoming an author. She gravitates towards fantasy storytelling as she is able to leave the constraints of our planet behind and create a world of her own. She is in the midst of writing an adventure themed novel called “Midnight Rising.” This story is geared towards world building as the reader follows complex and relatable characters through their unpredictable journey. She writes the story as she finds time in her schedule. This protracted method allows the story and characters to grow and mature as she does. She is taking her time and plans to publish the story eventually.
Mizner is a dual threat in the world of literary creation. Not only can she write a compelling story, but she can create alluring illustrations to complete her vision.
Mizner is a talented artist. She began illustrating using pencil and paper, but she has since graduated to ProCreate, an illustration program with the capability to create intricate drawings with many layers. She illustrates for her books as well as doing commission work for others online via multiple websites.
Mizner is an artist with the exceptional skills to produce elaborate drawings and intriguing stories to go with it. We are excited to welcome creative minds such as these to Lincoln High School.
