
Senior Jaden Unlu competed on Friday and Saturday in three events at NSAA State Swimming competition and medaled in two of those competitions.
Unlu, a 4-year member of the swim team has been to state three times but this is his first time medaling at the state competition. This year, Unlu competed and placed eighth in the Boys 200 yard freestyle competition with a time of 1:47.16. He also competed and took fifth place in in the 100 yard backstroke competition with a time of 53.14. State finals were held on Saturday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln.

Junior Cayden Thompson also medaled in the Special Olympics Nebraska (SONE) in third place.
Including the medal from sophomore Colin Farr in diving from Friday, Lincoln High School had four medals from the state competition over the weekend.
