LHS Cross Country Thrives At Omaha Bryan Invite

Overall, Lincoln High did very well at the Omaha Bryan Invitational cross country meet. Hannah Higgins placed 8th for the freshman girls. In the sophomore girls race Marina Blum finished 3rd and Bree Drda finished 8th. Hikari Yoshino finished 2nd place and Nakuya Smith finished 15th for the junior girls’ race. “The junior girls finished 4th over all.” The Bryan champions for the girls were the seniors. Storm Mellick finished 1st, Emme Grafton 2nd, and Phoebe Perry 12th.
Tanan Kriz won a 9th place medal and John Waechter won a 14th place medal for the sophomore boys. The Bryan champions for the boys were the juniors. Dan Carrier won a 1st place medal, Thuong La 4th place, Charlie Neibel 5th place, Connor Goodwin 6th place, and Parker Vicroy an 8th place medal for the junior boys. The senior boys finished 3rd over all.  Will Ledford finished 6th, Trevin Wurm finished 9th and Josh Fenster finished 13th.
