The baseball team this year is better than ever. Lincoln High has had a great season. The win-loss was 10-15 and they got 4th place in the Heartland Conference. The team almost made it to state but they lost to Millard North in the District Championship game. “[The] guys played with a lot of effort most of the season.” Coach Todd Sandberg said. The team this year is really close and has bonded more than ever. They get along well and play well. “This year we sort of bonded,” LHS sophomore James Young said. “We actually play well together unlike last year. We had moments where we fought [a lot] but this year we are actually playing as a team and actually winning games.” “[It] just shows how much we’ve improved over the years and how good of a team we have this year” Senior Varsity Player Alex Farmer said
