The Lincoln High School Theatre Department has been hard at work on the Fall Show production of, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court, which opens tomorrow night, Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the Ted Sorensen Theatre.
Auditions were held August 27th and 28th, with the cast list going up August 31st. With less than day from opening night, both cast and crew have been working hard to get the show ready to take the stage.
According to Director Molly Thomas, the show is Children’s Theatre. Thomas describes this as “an over exaggerated stylized type of theatre that appeals to the children in our audience.” She also said that the entire theme is to be “Miles Larson friendly” a reference to Principal Mark Larson’s son.
The opening performance is Thursday, October 4th at 7 p.m. at the Ted Sorensen Theatre, with two following performances on Friday October 5th at 7 p.m. and Saturday October 6th at 2 p.m.
There will also be a school showing on Thursday October 5th during 7th period.
Tickets are $5 at the door, or from any cast member. Break a Leg Links!
