After an intense duel, the Links Football team defeated Lincoln Southwest in a 43-3 game at Seacrest Field on Friday, October 19th, making the Links record 7-2 for the season.

After a victory against the Kearney Bearcats on Friday, October 12th, the Links secured the district champion title and became ranked sixth for the playoffs after defeating Lincoln Southwest.

“I think this was the best game we played all year,” senior running-back Isaiah Alford said. “We had beat [Lincoln Southwest] the past three years, so we had to keep it going.”
The Links first playoff game will be against Elkhorn South at Beechner Field on Friday, October 26th at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5 for students and $7 for adults. LPS Athletic passes will not be accepted.
