Attention Seniors: The Susan Buffett Scholarship deadline is approaching fast on Saturday, February 1st at 5pm. If you need help applying be sure to come to College Club in lab 100F, from 2:15 – 3:15 every Tuesday. College Club resumes tomorrow so come join us!

English After school Resource Center – ARC – meets TODAY – and every Monday and Wednesday – in Room #316 with Ms. Rennings from 3:15 – 4:15. There are also ARC sessions for art, business, math, science, social studies, and world language classes, too. Get the help you need to meet your academic goals from Lincoln High teachers! See you there!

Are you needing additional support? Does a small group setting interest you? Then consider one of our many group supports starting this semester. We have groups to cover many topics including grief, trauma and coping strategies. If you want more info on any of these groups or other supports offered at LHS, reach out to the school social worker, Kate Eilers in the counseling center.

“Seniors, if you’re planning on attending SCC and interested in taking or retaking the ACCUPLACER, you are encouraged to sign up for the next testing date on Thursday, 2/27/2020. The jumpcode is YAYC or follow the link posted in your Class of 2020 LHS. Please be sure to check your emails daily for important information/announcements. Any questions regarding ACCUPLACER, please see Ms. Nguyen in the Counseling Center.

Have you ever wished you could be a better public speaker? Do you enjoy acting? Do you have an important message to share? The LHS Speech Team, welcomes new members throughout the fall semester! Please join us ANY Monday in Room 302 after school to learn more!

“Here’s another fantastic announcement from Fellowship of Christian Athletes! As students and athletes, many at Lincoln High are striving to be great, but find it isn’t very easy. That’s why tomorrow morning we want to discuss what “Perfection” looks like and how we can achieve it. We’ll get started in Room 402 by 7:15, so we hope you can make it! Also, our weekly FCA Movie Quote winner on January 24 was Kat Summers, who correctly guessed Million Dollar Baby. Thanks to everyone that played and hey, congratulations Kat!

The Blood drive that was postponed last week because of the snow day has been rescheduled for Monday, February 3rd.

In sports today: Freshman and Reserve Boys Basketball teams play against Southwest at Southwest today. Freshmen play at 5:45 and Reserve plays at 7:15
