UNL Coming To LHS

UNL Coming To LHS

By Frank Wickizer –

On Thursday, February 5, during fifth period, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will be visiting our school to talk to students hoping to apply, those that have applied, and anyone even vaguely interested.

The office of admissions at UNL will be represented by Aliza Brugger (seen below). “I will be at Lincoln High School to discuss the academics, student life, and admission process at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln,” Brugger said.  This will be an important last-chance for seniors to see if they would like to stay in town for their college years, and an important chance for juniors to test their level of interest on this.

To get involved with this, Brugger says to “Please talk with your school counselor to attend.” Down at the counselors office, though, they will simply take your name and ask that your teacher write you a pass for 10:45 to the Media Center. If you have any additional questions, concerns or comments, feel free to email her at alizabrugger@experience.unl.edu or call the Office of Admissions at 800-742-8800 and enter extension 2057.
