At some point or another, school has been at the heart of a deep-seated annoyance for everyone. However, what you may not think about is that this is true for teachers as well. Have you ever wondered what you do which annoys your teachers? Well, I decided to find out what it is that bothers our teachers around Lincoln High.

What is your biggest pet peeve caused by students in general?

What is your biggest pet peeve caused by students that is specific to the subject you teach?

“When students don’t realize that they need to complete assigned homework, as well as in-class work, to be successful. If I assign reading, it’s not because I want to eat up your entire evening or weekend with homework. I assign that because it’s important information for the class that you will need at a later time.”

The “hoops” you have to jump through to get permission to use a really great website that is great to engage students. There are times that we wait 6 months or more to find out if we can get permission. Often times it is denied. Then there are others we are required to use that are far from what I would consider engaging for students.
