Bands perform to raise bullying awareness

Student Council members put the finishing touches on some signs advertising tonight’s Bands Against Bullying event to raise awareness about bullying. The show will be in the Ted Sorensen Theatre at 7 p.m. and is free.

Eight bands will take the stage tonight in the Ted Sorensen Theatre to raise awareness about bullying as part of a Student Council Respect campaign. Student Council members have been preparing for the event all month.

The show begins 7 p.m., and the event is FREE. The Links Respect tie-dyed T-shirts will also be on sale for $12, and there will be concessions available. Proceeds go to the Bully Project.

The schedule of bands is as follows:
7:00- Reagan Meyers
7:10- Ben’s Band
7:25- band (LHS Drumline)
7:40- Bathtub Dogs
7:50- Intermission
8:05- Illusion Theater
8:20- Boots n’ Cats
8:30- Big Red Rejects
8:45- Population Control
