Michaela Wubbles, the new Pomalinks coach is preparing for the new season. Wubbles has danced her whole life and coached cheer in the 2023-2024 and 2022-2023 school years, coaching JV her first year, and co-coaching Varsity Cheer her second. She is very excited for the new opportunity that coaching pomalinks will bring, and is ready for the challenges and joy this new season will present. When speaking to dancers on the team, most were excited about the coach switch, but also sad to see Emily Martinez, the current coach leave. One member in particular, Ayla Thompson, who has been apart of Pomalinks since her freshman year, is excited to see how this coach switch will impact the team, and is looking forward to her final year as a Pomalink. When asking Ms.Wubbles about her experience coaching at Lincoln High, she vocalized that she was very grateful for her past experiences, but is excited to get back into what she loves and specializes in, as she has been dancing for 21 years. Overall, this coach switch is very exciting and we can’t wait to see our Pomalinks grow throughout the year.
