People across the United States gathered this past Saturday to protest Donald Trump’s executive orders that have been put in place since he was inaugurated in January.

On April 5th, 2025, crowds of protesters throughout the United States rallied at capitols and federal buildings across the country. These people gathered for many reasons but the main factor was that “We must stop Trump and Musk’s illegal, billionaire power grab.” According to CNN, about 600,000 people rallied all across the country.
In Lincoln, protesters gathered at the Nebraska capitol, just about a mile from LHS. People came with signs made, but there was also a sign-making station where protesters could make, or borrow signs. The protest was from 11 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon.
