The Perils of Lively Concerts: Flyleaf, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace

The Perils of Lively Concerts: Flyleaf, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace

By Kassy Chilen

On January 26th of 2010, in Grand Island, NE was the most amazing rock concert of 2010 (so far) occured.  Flyleaf, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Days Grace came to the Heartland Event Center.  The evening was amazing:  from the buckets of water, shaking speakers, and the overall intensity, the bands did not disappoint.  One disappointmernt, however, was the massive mosh pit.  While I was down on the general admissions floor, I was knocked to the ground and kicked in the head with a boot.   I was taken backstage to recover, and I had access to the bands backstage!  Here are the highlights from the show:

Flyleaf started out with “Alive” and finished with “I’m So Cold”.
Breaking Benjamin started with “I will not bow” and finished
with his old single hit “Diary of Jane”.
Three Days Grace was the best to my opinion. They started with a
Song off of their new album Life starts now called
“Break”. They did the most amazing ending with “Animal”.
