By Shacourtney Johns –
Homecoming is an annual tradition where students and faculty come together usually in September to welcome back alumni. It is built around an event such as a game of football, which is played on the the school’s home football field, and the crowning of the Homecoming royalty. This years Homecoming took place at Lincoln High School on Friday September 23rd.

The festivities started off with Spirit Week where students and staff dressed up differently for each day to show their school spirit. The days included Multiplicity Day where students would dress similar to two or more people, Denim Day where students and staff wore as much denim as possible, Wacky Wednesday where students dressed up as crazy as they wanted , Artist Day for students who wanted to dress up as one of their favorite artist. And Link Day for showing your school pride by wearing red and black.
