Good morning Lincoln High! Welcome to LINKS LIVE! The Lincoln High Morning News Show!

Any boy wishing to tryout for Boys Basketball will need to complete Athletic Skills Testing TODAY!  beginning at 3:10 pm in the weight room.

IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE ATHLETIC SKILLS TESTING YOU WILL NOT BE

ALLOWED TO TRYOUT ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH. 

 

The Marines will be in the cafeteria today during 5th pd. 

The Navy will be in the cafeteria on Thursday during all 3 lunches.

 

“Native American Students! Join us for Rock Your Moccs! 

This event will bring together Native students from Lincoln High, North Star and NorthEast High schools. This is a time and space for Native youth to connect and collaborate. We will have fry bread and fun! 

Join us THIS FRIDAY  November 15th from 4-5:30pm  at the Indian Center.

And now here’s your Native American Heritage Month fact of the day: 

CHARLENE TETERS is an activist of the Spokane Nation who has led many protests against the use of Native Americans as mascots and other imagery in sports. She is a founding board member of the National Coalition on Racism in Sports and the Media, and she was the subject of the highly acclaimed documentary, “In Whose Honor.”

Lincoln High’s Annual Fundraiser, Hoops 4 Hope, is Friday, November 15th in Johnson Gym at 7 pm. Admission is only $5.

 

Happy HOSA Week! Thank you for wearing red today in support of STD & AIDS awareness. Look for more information on this cause in the future. Please wear gray tomorrow in support of brain cancer awareness. 

 

If you were unable to attend the Honors Assembly, please stop by the main office to pick up your certificates and letters. Please bring your ID and Congratulations on your achievement!

Stand In For Lincoln would like to invite any interested student to join us after school today in room 104 to make vision boards on the theme of social justice and immigration. Creating a vision board will help students focus on how they feel about issues most important to them. Also, we will talk about how we can support immigrants and refugees in our local communities.

 

Korean Club is a new after school group starting TODAY in room 102. This group will explore Korean culture, language, and more! And yes, there will be K-Pop. Hope you can join on Wednesdays to explore this rich and fun culture!
