Nine Lincoln High actors and actresses were awarded with an Outstanding Performance award on December 7, 2013 at the One Act District Competition. The senior winners were Lillian Bornstein, Emma Fisher, Abbie Austin, Spencer Pearson, Madeleine Miller, and Amy Brant. The juniors winners were Cat Nyberg, Tom Witzki, and Kevin Tran.
Senior Lillian Bornstein said, “Winning Districts was wonderful, because it felt like we were recognized for the work we put into it and all of the time we spent bonding and becoming a family.” Junior Kevin Tran said, “I’ve never actually won anything in my life, so it was pretty cool to get an award for something.”
These actors and the rest of the cast and crew took their skills to the One Act State Competition on December 13, 2013 in Norfolk where they took 3rd place.
