So far, Grease seems to be a very popular musical for Lincoln High. So many people have signed up to audition; the sheets are full of actors and singers. Who will get the lead roles? The actors and the singers will unite to audition for the roles of Grease. The Pink Ladies and The T-Birds will form, and the relationship of Sandy and Danny will form. For those that don’t know the story of Grease, Sandy Dumbrowski is an Australian teenager on vacation with her parents and Danny Zuko goes to Rydell High School. Danny and Sandy fall in love over the summer. At the end of the summer Sandy’s parents decide to stay in America and Sandy is exchanged to the same school as Danny and finds out that Danny isn’t the same guy that she met on the beach Danny is the leader of the gang The T-Birds. Sandy becomes friends The Pink Ladies who are friends with The T-Birds. Danny tells lies to the gang about what he was doing over the summer with Sandy. Sandy is still in love with Danny and is trying to get him back but Danny just blows her off. Will Danny and Sandy end up together or will Sandy go and be a Pink Lady and will Danny just stay a T-Bird and hang with his gang and be “the cool guy”? See the show and find out what happens in the musical of Grease.
Performances are March 18, 19, 20th at 7pm in the new Ted Sorensen Theatre.
