This year’s prom theme was “A Night at the Carnival,” and students had a great time dancing and having fun. The dance took place this year at the Pla Mor Ballroom on April, 11, 2015. Many students went out to eat before the dance, and everyone looked their best. “I think the most exciting moment of prom was when I got ready for prom, doing my hair, make up, and getting my dress,” Tra Mai said. “I’m a dancer in Ground Zero, and I love to dance,” Hung Do said. “I can feel free to dance at prom with everyone. Even if I don’t know any people there, when the music was on, I just danced and danced with them.”

The big surprise came when Prom Royalty were announced. This year’s Queen and King were twin brother and sister Alexis and Garret Cruz. Prince was Hunter White, and Princess was Clara Higgins. “They did really good job at decorating,” Ryan McManaman said. “I sponsor Student Council, and at the end of the day Friday when we finished decorating [my favorite part was] to see how good it looked and to see how happy my students were,” LHS English teacher and Student Council sponsor, Niki Barnes, said. “It was great to see all of the people dressed up and having fun,” Barnes added.
