Barnes and Noble Bookfair proceeds to benefit Lincoln High

Barnes and Noble Bookfair proceeds to benefit Lincoln High

By Kylee Johnson

Who doesn’t love a cup of coffee and a book?! It’s like the perfect combination! It’s why Barnes and Noble is one of the most favoritest places for many people!

What makes this even better is that one day, TOMORROW, they are giving a percentage of their proceeds to Lincoln High! How fantastic is that?! The only thing that we have to do to get this gift is to have students, teachers, parents, siblings, and everyone you know to go to the Barnes and Noble on ‘O’ Street tomorrow, Saturday, October 20, any time between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. To make sure that the purchases you make go towards Lincoln High, whether it be a coffee,  a book, a magazine, or a toy, make sure you say, “I’m here for Lincoln High!

Not only are some of the proceeds going towards Lincoln High, but in the children’s section of the store, Lincoln High students have planned activities for children and adults to do! The full list of these activities are posted below.

9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Coloring Booth (Student Council)

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m   Make bookmarks (Book Club)

10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Reading Children’s books (Asian Caucus)

11:00 – 12:00 p.m.  Make Day of the Dead bookmarks (Las Razas Unidas)

So make sure that you stop by Barnes and Noble tomorrow and when paying be sure to mention that you’re there for Lincoln High!
