Don’t Tap The Glass- Tyler, The Creator
Big Poe 7/10 Good rapping, great feature, and a great start to the album, but I do feel like the chorus gets repetitive.
Sugar On My Tongue 9/10 a great song, with a beautiful beat, just an amazing track overall.
Sucka Free 8/10 Another banger, with a catchy chorus, and great verses from Tyler.
Mommanem 7/10 a sharp beat with heavy bass, good rapping from Tyler, just a little repetitive at times.
Stop Playing With Me 8/10 A great transition from Mommanem, and more showing of Tyler’s rapping, also with an amazing beat.
Ring Ring Ring 10/10 Amazing singing and rapping, a chorus that’s not long enough to be boring and not too short to be an inconvenience , it’s that perfect sweet spot, along with an amazing instrumental that really ties this amazing song together
Don’t Tap That Glass 8/10 A FIRE older west coast hip hop sounding beat, along with amazing verses from Tyler, but it does get messed up by the first part of the song.
Tweakin’ 7/10 its definitely the weaker part of the song with a weak start, but it does shine with the rest.
Don’t You Worry Baby 9/10 An amazing chorus with some more great rapping from Tyler, and beautiful singing from Madison Mcferrin.
I’ll Take Care of You 8/10 Some great singing from Yebba, and a beautiful beat that really elevates this song to the next level, but I do wish we could have gotten some more of Tyler in this track.
Tell Me What it is 8/10 A great song with some more amazing singing this time from Tyler, with a beautiful instrumental, a perfect last song to an amazing album.
Tyler, The Creator’s album “Don’t Tap The Glass”, has made the hip hop scene all reconsider their music, this is an amazing album with beautiful vocals, great rapping and even better flows. This album is definitely a must listen to for anyone. Also this album gave a wave of new TikTok trends with it, like the Sugar On My Tongue dance trend, and the Ring Ring Ring dance as well.
Overall an outstanding album, especially a surprise album not even a year after his last, I feel like Tyler, The Creator has really outdone himself with this whole project, it was an amazing listen from the first song to the last, without a doubt I would see this project as definitely Grammy worthy.
