EUGENE, Ore. — Darius Luff, the University of Nebraska Senior, ended his collegiate career today in Eugene, Oregon at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship where he ran the men’s 110m hurdles in a personal best 13.19 seconds, beating out Auburn’s Ja’Kobe Tharp by just one hundredth of a second. The current NCAA record is held by University of Florida’s Grant Holloway who ran the 110m hurdles in 12.98 seconds in 2019.

A Lincoln High graduate of the class of 2019, Luff won the Nebraska state championship in the boy’s 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles in both 2018 and 2019 and still holds the class A state record in the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.84, according to the University of Nebraska.

Next for Luff will be the US Olympic Team trials, which will be held June 21st through the 30th in Eugene, Oregon.
